back from sigcomm (i'll post some thoughts later) and down in nyc to play trombone again for singer-songwriter buddy jeff solomon. he's playing at a music-and-comedy festival, sketchstock 3000, that, unlike the last show, is not free. we're a quartet this time (uke/piano, guitar, cello, trombone), and i think i'm only playing one song, but come anyway! yay.
i'm at sigcomm 2005 this week in philadelphia. time to go get a philly cheesteak at Gianna's. i hear they have vegan cheesesteaks there, but i'm too scared to try.
interesting sigcomm-related sites: ClosestNode (be sure to try out the live Meridian demos), OpenDHT (wants YOUR key-value pairs!).
it's silly, but i'm super-excited about my latest accomplishment. i finally cooked eggs over easy without breaking the yolk! photographic documentation is, obviously, necessary.

...
i just realized i blogged my breakfast. oy.
i haven't updated in a long time (and i'll fix that soon). sorry!
anyway, for those in NYC, i'm playing trombone tomorrow night (wednesday, 8pm) for my friend jeff solomon. jeff's starting out as a singer-songwriter in the city and this will be his CD release show, at the Living Room on the lower east side. you can listen to the whole CD at jeff's site -- that's me on the track "I Sit Around Too Much".
